On 22 and 23 February 2007, I took a bit of a road trip to St. Louis and Dyersburg, Tennessee. The pages show the photos taken along the trip. They are raw and unedited. The recurring dark spot is a rock chip repair. Some are blurry; I'm still getting the hang of operating a different camera.
First leg: around Quincy to I-72 (7 photos)
Along I-72 to Jacksonville (21 photos)
Along US 67 from Jacksonville to Jerseyville (20 photos)
Side-trip to Hardin, then to Alton and the Clark Bridge (9 photos)
Trip to the Jones-Confluence State Park (Missouri meets Mississippi River) (7 photos)
In and around St. Louis along MO 367 and I-64 (9 photos)
Missouri 799 shots, aka the King Bridge (8 photos)
On to Cairo, Illinois (3 photos)
Fort Defiance State Park, where the Ohio River meets the old Miss (4 photos)
Along I-155 and US 412 to Kennett (4 photos)
Along MO 84 and AR 90 (3 photos)
Home stretch: US 67 construction, and end I-64 sign (5 photos)
In this trip, several milestones were reached. All Interstates in Missouri (except business routes) are clinched. The trip put me within one county of fully clinching Missouri. It included my first trip into Kentucky since 1985 and Tennessee since 1998. A gap in I-72 in Illinois is filled.
