From Pocahontas I took US 67 through Poplar Bluff to Silva.
US 67 is being upgraded to expressway between Poplar Bluff and Fredericktown, due for completion by 31 December 2012. The first three photos are along the construction area in northern Butler County, where grading is complete and bridges are in progress.

In Wayne County, the clearing is just underway in the project.
From Silva I took MO 34 to Marble Hill and MO 51 to Perryville (clinching Bollinger County). Both roads were so crooked that photos just were not practical or safe. At Perryville I took I-55 and I-270 to MO 100 for a stop there, then went home on my usual route. I end this trip section with the End I-64 sign currently located just west of Exit 9. It might move when the portion from exit 9 to exit 6 is complete, as the stretch between exits 6 and 2 is complete.
