Since downloading the GIMP, my ability to experiment with road sign art is very flexible. Here are some sample hack jobs.
First: my version of a sign sampler from Kurumi's Sign Maker site.
The real part of this is that each shield shown in the Milan sign is an actual highway in the town in each state represented.

Since the border Oklahoma shares with Missouri separates Arkansas from Kansas by 34.4 miles, this idea of the meat-cleaver chop job came to mind. |
