On 27 February 2010, continuing the tour around Kansas City, I took the following photos at a pedestrian area north of 2nd and Main near downtown Kansas City. Main Street now ends at 2nd Street; north of there is access to private parking lots. A pedestrian bridge goes over old 1st Street, the railroad tracks and the floodwall.
The first two shots are looking north toward the end of the pedestrian bridge.

At the end of the pedestrian bridge are a flight of stairs and an elevator. The next set of shots are at ground level.

Going east toward the ASB/HOA

Interesting piece of art...possibly a bike rack. This area is popular for bicyclists.

Pet nature control measure!

Old concrete structures and abandoned bridging

Returning to the stairway, some plaques showing high-water lines for three notable Missouri river floods

The remaining photos are working back south on the pedestrian bridge, including remnants of 1st Street.
