On 27 February 2010, continuing the tour around Kansas City, I took the following photos in Riverfront Park near downtown Kansas City. MoDOT is working on the Bond Bridge as a replacement for the Paseo Bridge carrying I-35, I-29 and US 71.
The first two shots are looking west toward the Paseo Bridge from Front Street near a casino entrance.
I found a small parking area on Front Street about 1/2 mile from the Paseo Bridge. The next view is looking west toward the Heart of America and ASB Bridges.

Here the beams are in place to start the south end of the bridge.

When I returned to the parking area, I spotted this sign describing the Riverfront Park project, which includes a realignment of Front Street and connection to the psrk section near old 1st and Main (site of next page of photos).
