On 26 April 2008 I went touring around the area south of Kansas City for a bit.
Old bridge on the east outer road of US 71 between 155th Street and MO 150 in Grandview.
Headed east on MO 150, I spotted some high-detail route shields at MO 7.
Another try on the east END! of MO 150. Later I'll shoot one closer to the WB lanes of US 50.
The next two are at the east END! of MO 58, viewed from EB US 50.
From there I went west on MO 58 to Holden, then south on MO 131 to MO 2 to catch the south END! of MO 131 and turn around.
After returning to Holden, I went west on MO 58 and picked up the interchange of MO 58 and MO 7 in Pleasant Hill. It is not that common to see an interchange between two 2-lane highways, especially inside city limits.
Then it was west to MO 291 (thus clinching MO 58), and south to Harrisonville. Here MO 291 ends at US 71 (no END! signs appear).
Then it was west on MO 2 to the state line where it becomes K-68. First is a view looking west on K-68, then one at the END! 2 sign, then looking east on MO 2.
Then to head home as darkness was on its way. I used SR D north to MO 150. Here are a couple of shots at the west end of MO 58 near Belton.
