Here are some photos taken on US 40/61 and I-64 east of Wentzville on 4 November 06. This the current status of the I-64 extension project.
The first photo is taken just south of I-70 at the Callahan intersection. The intersection will be closed and have access via service roads from the future Prospect interchange.
The next photo is taken at the Prospect Road intersection which will be converted to interchange in the future, likely as Exit 1C.
The next photo is taken at the SR DD/Winghaven Exit (#4).
The next photo is taken just south of the Winghaven exit where construction is underway to finish I-64 between Winghaven and SR K (exit 4 to exit 9).
The next photo is taken just north Exit 9 for SR K which is the south end of the project.
The next photo is taken in St. Louis at one of the two stacked sections of I-64.
