Missouri State Route Ends!

This project is the photographic documentation of the highway ends in Missouri. It will be an ongoing project as Missouri is home to the ends of 13 Interstate highways (5 2di and 8 3di) and 6 US highways as well as having 190 state numbered routes. Each route (linked by shields below) will have its own page with photos and/or links to known Web pages (no sense duplicating effort). No lettered routes will be part of the site due to the sheer number of them. Also not covering business or spur routes at this time.

Each page lists the end locations with MGRS coordinates, the military version of UTM, to within 1 meter precision (based on DeLorme software). This is to throw a certain viatologist a curveball. :-)

Coverage level codes below: within my site: GV=taken by webmaster. Other contributors: DB=David Backlin, DH=David Herman, JL=Jeremy Lance, RP=Rich Piehl, SN=Scott Nazelrod

External sites: AA=AARoads Interstate Guide, JM=Jeff Morrison's Iowa Ends site, MR=Mark Roberts' site, DS=Dale Sanderson's US Ends site, CS=Charles Sarjeant's Illinois Highways page.

Coverage levels do not necessarily add up to totals due to rounding.

Interstate ends in Missouri (I-435 technically has no end as it is a loop around Kansas City, but the point of origin for its mileposts and exit numbers is in Lenexa, Kansas - hence not on this Missouri-emphasized part of the site). Coverage: GV=10 of 16 (62%), DH=6 of 16 (38%) (internal total 100%). External: MR=4 of 16 (25%), AA=16 of 16 (100%)

US Highway Ends in Missouri: coverage: GV=3 of 6 (50%), SN=2 of 6 (33%), MR=4 of 6 (67%), DS=6 of 6 (100%), total 6 of 6 (100%)
