Music is my big hobby, even more than roadgeeking. I started my time as a musician at age 10 on trumpet and at age 16 on guitar. I am in the process of recording some ideas onto CD (no real date on release yet). I have a fairly decent collection of guitars and amplifiers. Here are the photos.

My influences include Van Halen and Petra. My hard-rock preference started in college. Prior to that time I honestly did not believe the Lord could put rock music to good use. Then a friend introduced me to some Petra music, and when I found out they pulled the lyrics straight from the Bible, my attitude changed…and the song writing started. So far I have written over 40 songs, so there's a chance one might be OK.

I also have a strong mathematical influence aided by experience in drafting since 1988. I found out in research that music is related to math. Here is the page of the trivia.
